Terms of service

MEDICI is a product of Cogdroid Systems (“Cogdroid,” “we,” “us”). By creating an account, starting a paid plan, or clicking accept on a terms prompt, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use MEDICI.

MEDICI is a web application that runs AI agents over the strategy brief and context query you submit and returns a structured strategy report and a slide deck. It is a research and drafting tool.

Reports are generated by language models. They can be wrong, omit material facts, misread or misquote a source, and state falsehoods with the same confidence as accurate conclusions. Validation agents and source checks reduce that risk; they do not remove it.

Nothing MEDICI produces is investment, legal, tax, medical, or other professional advice. You are solely responsible for checking anything you intend to act on, publish, or place in front of a board, customer, or regulator. Cogdroid is not liable for decisions you make using the output.

You keep ownership of the briefs you submit. You own the reports produced from them and may use them commercially, including inside documents you sell or present.

You represent that you have the rights, licenses, and authority to submit your briefs and context query, and that doing so does not breach confidentiality, contract, or third-party rights.

You grant Cogdroid a worldwide, non-exclusive license to use the briefs, reports, session settings, product usage data, and related metadata you provide through MEDICI to operate the service, provide support, secure and debug the platform, improve features, run analytics, and train, fine-tune, evaluate, and benchmark models and agent workflows used in MEDICI or successor products.

We may use aggregated or de-identified data derived from customer use for product improvement, research, and future commercial offerings, including insights products that do not identify you or your customers. We do not sell your identifiable briefs or reports as a standalone dataset. Where law requires a different basis or consent for a specific processing activity, we comply with that requirement.

Do not use MEDICI to produce material that is unlawful, or to generate content designed to deceive people about its origin. Do not attempt to extract the underlying prompts, resell access, or run automated load against the service beyond your plan.

Launch is a thirty-day trial, not a permanent free tier. It includes two sessions in total for the trial, in Fast research mode, and the allowance does not reset. The first session requires only an email address; a payment method is stored before the second and is not charged during the trial.

Nothing on Launch converts to a paid plan automatically. At the end of the thirty days the ability to start new sessions ends, and continuing requires choosing Pro or Patron. We will not charge a stored card without you choosing a plan.

Paid Pro includes sessions in ordinary use, subject to the included compute allowance stated below. Extra runs past that allowance are charged before they start.

Launch and Free: a modest included compute envelope. When that envelope is exhausted for the calendar month or on a single session run, new runs stop until the next calendar month. The envelope may change as models and infrastructure evolve, and is enforced in product without fixed dollar quotes in these terms.

Pro: included compute, then a paid extra run. After the included allowance for the calendar month is used, an extra run is charged to the card on file and starts only after that charge succeeds. A run that would pass the per-run ceiling still stops. Allowances may change as models and infrastructure evolve, and are enforced in product without fixed dollar quotes in these terms.

Patron: the fullest included compute, then a paid extra run. After the included allowance for the calendar month is used, an extra run is charged to the card on file and starts only after that charge succeeds. Patron is a yearly subscription (not a lifetime / one-time forever license). It includes a monthly compute allowance. Extra runs past that allowance are charged to the card on file before they start. It is deliberately not called unlimited-for-life.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Cogdroid and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or business interruption, arising from your use of MEDICI - including reliance on generated reports - even if we were advised such damages were possible.

Our total aggregate liability for all claims relating to MEDICI is limited to the fees you paid us for MEDICI in the twelve months before the claim. If you paid no fees in that period, we have no monetary liability to you beyond the minimum remedies required by applicable law.

You acknowledge that these limitations are an essential basis of the bargain between us. If your jurisdiction does not allow a limitation above, our liability is limited to the greatest extent that jurisdiction permits, and the remaining terms continue in effect.

MEDICI is provided on an as-available basis. We do not offer a published uptime or availability service level unless you have a separate written agreement with us that says otherwise. Outages, maintenance, and third-party dependencies can interrupt access without liability beyond these terms.

You may cancel a subscription at any time from the Billing page in the app. If the refund policy entitles you to a refund, it is paid and the subscription ends at once; otherwise it runs until the end of the period you have already paid for, and nothing more is charged. We may suspend or terminate access immediately if you breach the acceptable-use section or if required by law or payment provider rules.

If we change these terms in a way that materially affects you, we will email you before the change takes effect rather than quietly updating the page.
